Spectra Gallery
Some of the spectra recorded over the years in our
group have never been published.
It should not happen, of course,
but in practice, a day has only 24 hours...
You may know the situation.
I feel guilty about the diploma and graduate students
who have recorded them - this site is a partial remedy.
This site is represents an attempt to employ the new
communication possibilities of the internet to inform the
scientific community about such spectra,
hoping that some of you will find them useful.
If you find a particular application or are interested in
the spectra from the theoretical point of view,
then work in that particular direction could be continued
and the results published.
EEL spectra of some of the compounds have been recorded and published
by other research groups before or after they were measured in Fribourg.
Sorry, but lack of time does not permit me to include references to
the earlier work right now! (I shall try to add them later.)
I shall be pleased to supply the spectra in digital form
and more information to those who may wish to use them.
Please do not publish the spectra in any form without prior contacting
Michael Allan.
I reserve the right to publish the spectra in the future.
